Nine years ago I made a long term dream come true by starting a small fiber farm. Our family moved to an acre of land in Bluffdale, Utah and we have loved every minute of our yarn-growing adventure ever since.

I am a teacher, crafter, weaver, spinner, and animal lover. I have long been fascinated by textures, fabrics, textiles, materials, and anything I can get my hands on. For years I have been captivated by the idea of tracing a material all the way back to its source, and I envisioned being a part of every step in the process. Now this dream is my reality, and I have fallen in love with taking care of our animals, shearing, spinning, dyeing, and weaving their fleece, and turning it into something beautiful.

At Bergstrom Farms, our sweet animals are like family to us. We have four alpacas (Diego, Patch, Harrison, and Archie), five Icelandic sheep (Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, Thelma, and Louise), ten chickens, and two beehives. The beautiful fleeces our alpacas and sheep provide is secondary to the companionship and joy they have brought to us. All of our products are cruelty-free, sustainable, and made with love.
