Just three hours south or Salt Lake City, St. George (Utah) and Grand Junction, Colorado, we’re nestled in the scenic mountains of Wayne County, with an abundance of outdoor activities in our backyard. Whether you’re on your way to Moab or Bryce Canyon or looking to unwind after a Capitol Reef National Park adventure, we’re here to make your visit unforgettable.

Capitol Reef National Park is only 12 miles away, offering a perfect day-trip companion to your alpaca experience. Visitors often join us before or after a hike, adding a memorable touch to their Utah trip. Nearby, you’ll find mountain fishing the Fremont River, and even a free-to-visit fish hatchery just a mile from the ranch.

Our alpacas are the heart of our ranch, each with a lovable personality and charming face that will melt yours! Their beautiful fleeces are sheared once a year, spun by hand or crafted locally into luxurious yarns. These are transformed into one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces and wall decor, available in our on-site Paca Shop,

We offer a variety of alpaca experiences to choose from. We invite you to book an experience and come see why our amazing alpacas (and ODIN, our livestock guardian dog) are the highlight of so many vacations.

From the first time I saw alpacas in person, I knew they were the animals I’d share my “second act” with. Working with the animals and their fiber, I feel I am able to connect with my Dutch ancestors as I work the magic carding, spinning, knitting and weaving high-end, unique, wearable pieces of art.

Mike and I got started with alpacas when he purchased just one skein of alpaca yarn. From touching and working with that amazing yarn, it led to one-line research. Afterwards, we and two granddaughters visited a few alpaca ranches in Utah, and I fell in loved with them. The rest is history. I retired as a school administrator, we purchased our first five alpacas, had them bred, sold our house, found a beautiful place to move to, and here we are.

I am obsessed with everything alpaca because they are unlike any other creatures who walk this earth. They can calm you on a bad day, and lift your spirts higher on a wonderful one. To work with their fleeces takes you to another dimension altogether. Bringing a little one (cria) into the world is another experience unlike any other.

I enjoy sharing everything alpaca with our ranch visitors, creating memories with them that will last a lifetime. Our ranch experiences are interactive and appropriate for all ages.
