The Cox Family Farm was established in 1877, since then the Cox family has worked the century farm and worked the land from one generation to the next. For almost 150 years the farm has stayed in the family for 7 generations. Adam Anderson was raised on the farm by his grandparents and purchased the farm in 2011, together with his wife Marie Anderson they have created a farm learning environment to help teach the young and old the ways of farming. Our goal is to continue the farm family lifestyle that was so common years ago. Sustainable living, livestock raising, growing crops and harvesting everything on the farm in way you can use responsibly. From horseback riding, to raising bunnies, to making apricot jam, bread, blackberry pie, fresh pressed cider, tallow and lard soaps and lotions, everyone can find something new to learn at Cox Farm and Ranch. They also offer a high school intern program for Juniors and Seniors to learn hands on farming practices during school hours for school credit.
