Irey Acres Farm

We started our journey in 2020 selling microgreens at the Ogden Farmers Market. At the time we were renting some land and building our dream of owning a market garden business. As time went on, we found a location where we transitioned from an outdoor garden to an indoor farm with a commercial kitchen. We wanted to provide the local Ogden community with healthier food through our microgreens. After two years, we had built a local smoothie, salad, and quinoa bowl shop with the freshest ingredients sourced from local farmers and vendors, including our microgreens.

During this time, we had been looking for our own plot of land where we could build our own farm. We decided to close our shop in Ogden and take a break until we could do so. In February of 2022, we were able to purchase 3.7 acres of land in Plymouth, UT. In August of 2022, we moved on the lot with 5 kids and lived in a tent for 2 weeks until our shed and RV trailer arrived. When they arrived, we lived in our RV trailer and shed for 2 years. In March of 2025, our we were finally able to finish building our dream home.

Over the past year since our house was built we have been doubling our efforts to work the land, raise nearly 45 goats for our goat dairy, raise almost 30 chickens, turkeys, build a market garden on our own land, establish a 1.5 acres orchard, and work towards organic certification. We want to provide local communities with the most healthiest food possible through sustainable farming practices. We also hope to provide an amazing farm experience for everyone who visits through a u-pick experience. We have a farmstand where we sell raw goat milk, local homemade jams, sourdough bread, raw goat milk yogurt & cheese, and vegetables from our market garden. We look forward to meeting new people and getting to know our community better.

We started out selling microgreens and produce at our local farmers market in Ogden, Utah. From there, we expanded into a smoothie, salad, and quinua bowl shop in the heart of Ogden, Utah off of 21st St. Since then, we have been able to purchase our own land in Plymouth, Utah. We are now working hard to bring healthy harvests to our friends, neighbors, and community as we strive to diversify our products. It has been an incredible experience and we look forward to the years ahead!
