Lazy Acres Farm is a small family-operated farm located in Iron County, Utah and owned by Chad Pettigrew and Kelli Hensley. The farm includes sheep, chickens, and a seasonal garden, along with a small farm stand that offers eggs, baked goods, and other homemade foods produced in the farm kitchen. The farm focuses on small-scale agriculture and providing locally produced foods to the surrounding community.
In addition to normal farm operations, Lazy Acres offers seasonal agritourism experiences that allow visitors to observe and interact with a working farm environment. Activities may include meeting lambs and other animals, learning about basic livestock care and gardening, and participating in seasonal farm gatherings and family-friendly activities.
Through these events and the farm stand, Lazy Acres aims to promote an appreciation for agriculture, local food systems, and rural life while providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests visiting the farm.
