McFarland Family Farms

McFarland Family Farms is a 7th generation family farm located in West Weber, UT, a community founded in agriculture and nestled around the Rocky Mountains. We grow sweetcorn, onions, pumpkins, and rotate with hay and wheat. Kenny and Jamila McFarland have continued to support farming and agriculture by bringing fresh, high quality food to their community with their seasonal farm owned produce stands and have invited those around them out to the farm by opening the U-pick pumpkin patch and hosting multiple Fall Festivals. Both volunteer with their local Utah Farm Bureau Federation to advocate both in schools and at Capital Hill for a future in Agriculture.

Season Dates:

September 14th – October 31st

Activities:

We open our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch at The Historic Monastery Farm the 3rd week in September through Halloween, each year at our pumpkin patch we host two Fall Festivals-The Harvest Moon Festival in September and The Spirit of the Monks Festival in October which include a u-pick pumpkin patch, vendors, food trucks, barn dance and hay rides! The rest of the month we are open daily and we have northern Utah’s favorite U-pick pumpkin patch and other produce available.
