Youth Garden Project

The mission of the Youth Garden Project (YGP) is to cultivate healthy children, families, and community through educational programs and connecting people with food from seed to table. YGP provides hands-on educational opportunities to all ages, utilizing our 1.5-acre garden as an experiential learning lab, beautiful community gathering space, and increasingly productive farm in the heart of downtown Moab.

Our office hours are M-F from 9am-4pm, but our garden is always open and free to the public to explore. In addition to the passive education and fun on our site (visit the chickens, bunnies, fish, and our U-Pick Nibble Garden!), we also offer youth field trips and garden tours by request. Plus, check out our website for upcoming events, including seed-to-table dinners, gardening and cooking workshops, U-Pick days in our orchard, our annual Harvest Festival, and more! All proceeds from events directly fund our youth and community programming.
